Black Woman Freedom Network

About Us

In 2020, my beloved mother died of pancreatic cancer. Her transition was only 6 months
after being diagnosed. She was a hard-working woman devoted to caring for the sick.
and elderly.  She survived breast cancer only to succumb to it 15 years later.

There are so many black and brown women who share my mother’s story. Lack of
knowledge, support, and fear keep black and brown women from dying of treatable
preventable illnesses every day.
